These terms govern use of Citadel Books, a bookkeeping service provided by [your business name] ("we", "us"). By creating or using an account, you agree to them.

The service

Citadel Books provides invoicing, expense tracking, client records, contracts, and financial reporting tools for small businesses. Your business data is encrypted before it leaves your browser — we cannot read it under normal operation, and cannot restore access to it if a password is lost, unless account recovery has been explicitly enabled for your account.

Accounts and access

Each business account has one or more users, each with a defined role (Owner, Editor, or Viewer) controlling what they can see and change. The person or people who set up the account are responsible for who they invite and what access they're given. You're responsible for keeping your own password secure — we never have a copy of it.

Pricing and billing

Access to Citadel Books is £50/month per business, covering one user. Additional users are £5/month each. Pricing may change with reasonable notice to active accounts. Payment is currently handled [describe your actual billing process — e.g. "manually, invoiced monthly"].

Cancellation

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the service running reliably but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for things that can't legally be limited, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that materially affects your use of the service, we'll make a reasonable effort to let account holders know before the change takes effect.
